organicsultanasThe UK Food Standards Agency has reported that supermarket chain Sainsbury’s has issued a recall for its own-label SO Organic Sultanas following the detection of low level Salmonella contamination by routine product testing.

The recall affects all date codes of the product, which is sold in 500g packs marked with the barcode number 0000001205312. The company is displaying recall notices in its stores and is advising customers not to eat the sultanas, but to return them for a full refund.
