spicyseedssmallThe US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Freeland Foods, Inc. of San Jose, California is voluntarily recalling one lot of Go Raw Organic Spicy Seed Mix because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The recall applies to product with the lot number “Enjoy before May 12, 2015 R2” and marked with the UPC number 8 59888 00040 0. The seed mix is sold in re-sealable plastic bags and was distributed nationwide and in Canada through distributors, retailers and direct customers.
